All In Youth Council

Empowering the next generation of credit union savers.

Surveys of American teenagers show that most do not have a basic understanding of financial concepts or know how to apply them to real-life financial situations. All In Credit Union's Youth Council program introduces financial concepts and topics designed to equip High School Juniors and Seniors with the skills and knowledge they need to be financially responsible. These interactive meetings cover a wide range of financial concepts and information and provide students an opportunity to ask questions, share their thoughts, and interact with students in their age group from across our service areas. In addition to expanding their financial knowledge, participants who complete the program will also receive a letter of recommendation and learn how to apply for All In Credit Union’s $70,000 in scholarships that are awarded annually. Throughout the program, students are empowered to take charge of their financial futures, as well as give feedback on what today's youth are looking for in financial services. Students are also introduced to the All In Credit Union mantra, #WeGiveBack, and are encouraged to work with us on one community service project. Youth Council students meet for one hour every four weeks (approximately six meetings during the school year) on Tuesday afternoons. The program is free for members and non-members of All In Credit Union.

Here are some of the topics we cover:

  • Financial Savings & Fundamentals
  • Budgeting Basics
  • Personal Financial Management
  • Understanding Credit
  • Auto Buying
  • Fraud Prevention
  • Saving Now & for the Future
  • Scholarships & Student Loans
  • Career Advice & Mock Interviews

All In Youth Summer Camp

We make learning fun.

All In Credit Union's Youth Summer Camps are designed to teach 3rd through 5th grade students the fundamentals of money, saving, and financial responsibility. We also work with students to teach the basics of entrepreneurship, so that we're not only building the foundation for financial success but also working to create future leaders. If children are allowed to make easy choices as kids, then making decisions for themselves as they grow becomes less difficult. This program introduces guided, money-related, decision-making activities for children looking to learn and have fun. Youth Summer Camp students meet throughout the summer months for a one-day workshop.

Activities include:

  • Financial Basics
  • What is Money?
  • Money Responsibility
  • The Importance of Saving
  • Needs vs. Wants
  • Spending Decisions
  • Long & Short Term Financial Goals
  • Entrepreneurial Skills
